We traveled to Camiguin on a last-minute adventure from home base, Cagayan de Oro City . We were supposed to travel on October 23, 2012 but due to an unexpected occurrence of a storm, we had to reschedule our travel to November 1, 2012. Sad to say, we missed the Lanzones Festival which was celebrated on October 27, 2012, but still had a fantastic time during the rescheduled vacation. Fortunately it was a holiday on the day we traveled, so we stayed on the island for 3 days and 2 nights.  The island reminds us of Siargao - with all the tourist spots scattered everywhere! It was very quiet, had a well-paved coastal road, and very hospitable people.

The island has lots to offer. It's a perfect place for fun and adventure. On our first day, we headed to one of the well-known falls in Camiguin which is Katibawasan falls and the water was really cold. The waterfall was really great. Then at night we proceeded to Ardent hot spring where you can enjoy the hot spring pools at different temperature levels. 

The next day we went to White island and this was the best part of the trip. The island was really amazingly beautiful. We had snorkeling and viewed the beautiful corals and colorful fishes that surrounded the island. It wasn't our first visit of the island, but every time we do, it felt like one :)
